Autumn Echoes
Salmon People, ARIA awards, and an Evening Ramble: my favorite season carries good news
October is the month of my birth, the playground for libras, and in my (biased) opinion, the best time of the year. The smell of seasonal change in the air, shedding of old leaves, and sudden need for British Folk are always welcome in my realm.
This October there are a few highlights to celebrate.
Scha'nexw Elhtal'nexw Salmon People: Preserving a Way of Life
This Friday, this riveting documentary feature I sound designed, music edited, and mixed is playing at the Topanga Film Festival. Can’t make the screening? On November 4th at 5 pm PST/8 pm EST, Scha'nexw Elhtal'nexw Salmon People: Preserving a Way of Life will premiere on PBS through WORLD Local, U.S.A.Â
Tender Heart ARIA nomination
Mia Dyson’s masterful LP, that I produced and mixed was nominated for an ARIA award in Australia! The ARIA is akin to our Grammy awards, and we at Echo Magic are all very proud. The Award ceremony is Nov 20. Fingers Crossed!
Harvest Party
The return of the Morning Ramble, only in the Evening! We’ll be featuring guest vocalist Kelly McFarling and playing a HARVEST PARTY with our favorite space and time traveler, SKYWAYMAN at Farmer & The Cook in Ojai on Saturday Oct 26th 6-9pm
See you beneath the harvest moon,
